Subversive Spaces

Is an exhibtion at The Whitworth Gallery in Manchester. The gallery is small and inviting, and one of my favourite buildings I have seen so far. One of the artists that jumped out to me particularly, was Francesca Woodman. Here are some of her photographs. I know nothing about her, but its pretty explicit in its Feminist overtones. Really beautiful photography. She committed suicide in 1981 aged 22.
